JUNE 2010 ISSUE

Strange yet familiar

Please maintain the cleanliness of your classroom…  Avoid throwing garbage anywhere…
keep your thrash till you find the right place to dump it out.... And so on.

We are all used and bombarded with those lines yet most of us still find it strange to follow it. When we are ask about cleanliness we all know how to answer it, true to our deeds memorization is the lowest form of learning.
Every now and then the campus takes turn in attributing its policies regarding cleanliness in order to engage students in proper waste disposal. Sadly, most of us don't really apply what we have memorized.
Simple things add up, if all of us will just learn even just to avoid throwing thrash anywhere then no one will dare to say pick the thrash that the others  had thrown.
Looking up to these possibilities, we have to partake on the beatification of our campus. We at THE ESSENCE assert for the best that we can make for our academe.
Ask yourself, do I care about my appearance? If your answer is yes, you better start proving it, remember, the virtue of a person lies on how he/she is thorough in the place that she stayed at.
